Although this is a beta version, it has already undergone immense development and testing. The hardware is currently at a stable stage where I am happy to share it with others and am confident the experience will be enjoyable. The website has many guides and links to various components; however, it is also a work in progress and is constantly being updated.

This kit contains everything you need to build your own Marine Assistant, excluding the 3d printed case. It includes many features that reefers want, such as the ability to add temperature sensors, pH, TDS, EC, and/or ORP probes. This module also has reserve I/O that you can use as you wish, and many of the ports are very flexible in terms of which sensors you can connect and how they are used.

What can I connect to the Sensor Module?

  • 6 Float sensor ports – Connect any simple float sensor. Any sensor that connects SIG and GND will work.

  • 4 12V switchable outputs – Light up your filter cabinet with an LED strip, for example.

  • 1 Optical sensor port – For creating your own ATO.

  • 5 Temperature sensor ports – Compatible with standard DS18B20 temperature sensors.

  • 2 Leak sensor ports

  • 1 Echo sensor port – For measuring distance, such as water level in an ATO reservoir.

  • 4 Analog input ports with voltage dividers – Designed to work with a wide range of sensors.

Included:

  • Professional PCB

  • All components needed to complete the Marine Assistant hardware

What will you need to supply?

  • ESP32

  • Raspberry Pi 4 or 5

  • 12V, 2A power supply plug

  • A case

  • Your Choice of sensors.

For this release of the hardware, the case is only available in blue. In the future, other colors will be available!

When will it be shipped?

Shipping will begin once all beta kits are sold out or at the end of April, whichever comes first. Orders will close at the end of April, and shipping will take approximately 1 to 2 weeks to organize.
